Driftwood is our brand new three-bedroom, two-bathroom lakeside home with heated pool, set in the relaxed gated community of Beachwalk Isles in beautiful South Fort Myers, Florida. Perfectly located, Driftwood has restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance, is five minutes from Fort Myers Beach, ten minutes from the tropical island paradise of Sanibel, and thirty minutes from the opulence of North Naples.

THE BEACHES

The Gulf Coast is known for its unspoilt sugar-sand beaches. Whether you like your beaches lively with watersport rentals, fishing piers and food stands, or secluded getaways on a remote barrier island, this stretch of the Gulf of Mexico has something for you. Whichever you prefer, all beaches are family-friendly because of the calm waters, easy access and the gentle slope of the sea’s bottom.

“Dr Beach” (Stephen Leatherman) in his book America’s Best Beaches, named Sanibel the best walking beach on Florida’s West Coast and voted Captiva “the most romantic” in America two years in a row because of its "fabulous sunsets and far-awayness". Both Sanibel and Captiva beaches are known for the quantity and variety of their shells – which helps explain the local conditions known as the Sanibel Stoop and the Captiva Crouch!

The lively end of Fort Myers Beach is centred around the town hub known as Times Square and has all the clubs, restaurants, shops, picnic areas, playground and watersport rentals you may need as well as a fishing pier equipped with a bait shop. Just a short walk down Estero Island, you will discover a quieter, more laid-back beach experience.
